On Tuesday, October 20, the United States celebrates the first annual National Day of Writing.  In observance of this event, the National Council of Teachers of English has created the National Writing Gallery, an online gallery of writing created by students and adults throughout the country.  Several student writers have contributed to the Belleville West Writing Gallery, a local collection of writing within the National Gallery.  Visit this link any time between now and June to read the ever-growing number of essays, stories, poems, and reports at the Belleville West Writing Gallery:  http://galleryofwriting.org/galleries/196462.
